I've been asked the following questions during a firefighter interview.

1) Why do you want to be a firefighter?

2) Tell us about a time that you disagreed with your boss and how did you handled it.

3) Why do you want to work for this department?

4) Have you ever invented something? If so, what?

5) What would you do if you found an open container of alcohol in the engineer’s locker?

6) What do you feel the job of a firefighter is and what traits does a firefighter need to posses?

What type of education do you have?

How long have you been testing to become a firefighter?

How many firefighter exams have you taken?

How many times have you made it to the firefighter interview?

How many times have you made it to the physical ability exam?

How many times have you made it to background or medical?

If you are a firefighter, how many exams did you take before getting hired as a career firefighter?
